In One Year Only RIM Sells One Million Units Capable BlackBerry Playbook

RIM CEO, Throsten Heins, said that the BlackBerry Playbook has sold about one million units. RIM's sales figure was achieved in a period of nearly a year since the first sale.



Heins confirmed that the figure of one million units is not the number of sales and delivery. If seen from the number delivery, RIM revealed that there are more than 500,000 units shipped PlayBook tablet in the last quarter yesterday.
Heins also said that about 70% of owners Playbook Playbook is an update to 2.0 for 30 days since its release.
Blackberry OS 10 related rumors, Heins also said that the company will likely license its OS to other vendors. But there is no agreement about it.
